Which Certification Level Is Right for Your Venue?

Each WiFiCert level has a different purpose. The right choice depends on how important WiFi quality is to your guests, your reputation and your operational environment.

Verified

For baseline independent certification

Verified is suitable for venues that want to demonstrate that their WiFi has been independently assessed and certified against the WiFiCert methodology.

  • Small hotels
  • Guest houses
  • B&Bs
  • Holiday rentals
  • Independent venues
Choose Verified if you want clear, public WiFi certification without a deeper improvement verification process.
Guaranteed

For venues that want verified improvements

Guaranteed is suitable for venues that want to show not only that the WiFi has been assessed, but also that improvement actions have been reviewed and verified.

  • Hotels
  • Resorts
  • Conference venues
  • Serviced apartments
  • Business hospitality venues
Choose Guaranteed if WiFi quality is important to your guest experience and you want stronger assurance than baseline certification.
Trusted

For premium and high-assurance environments

Trusted is the highest WiFiCert level. It combines assessment, improvement verification and security review for venues where WiFi quality and trust are critical.

  • Luxury hotels
  • Premium resorts
  • Business centres
  • Enterprise venues
  • High-security environments
Choose Trusted if your venue needs the strongest WiFiCert recognition and a higher level of technical and security assurance.

How the Levels Progress

The WiFiCert model is progressive. Higher levels include the foundations of the lower levels and add further assurance requirements.

Verified Independent assessment, evidence-based review, certification decision, badge and public directory listing.
Guaranteed Everything included in Verified, with additional improvement verification where required.
Trusted Everything included in Guaranteed, with an additional security review for higher-assurance environments.

What Every Certification Level Includes

Regardless of the level selected, every certified venue receives a public certification record designed to make the result visible and verifiable.

Public Certificate

Each certified venue receives a certificate record that can be checked through the WiFiCert public verification system.

Digital Badge

Certified venues can display a WiFiCert badge linked to the public verification record for that certificate.

Directory Listing

Certified venues can be listed in the WiFiCert directory, helping visitors, partners and stakeholders identify certified locations.
